Random Ramblings

 Melissa was in town last week for training for her new job so I got to spend some time with her.

It was my daddy's birthday on Wednesday so Sara & kids, Melissa and I went to Cafe 'Ole on Thursday (which was really my mom's birthday). Mom was still in Utah with Grandma.

Matt & his brothers think I'm nuts but I'm incapable of having a savings account!! I always put money into it then I usually transfer it out later. So, every paycheck, I take out about $100+ in coin and put it into a piggy bank at home. I got lucky this last paycheck and some dude brought in $90 worth of 50cent pieces and dollar coins!! I was in heaven!!

A couple weeks ago, I overheard Jim, my boss, say he needed volunteers for something. I didn't even hear what it was and I blurted out that I would help! He called me the next day to talk about it and I had to cut him off and admit that I didn't even know what I was signed up for. Turned out I volunteered to help with the Boys & Girls Club Community Day. I almost backed out because I was getting stressed out with Matt's big surprise, my grandma in the hospital, LuLu in town and everything else...But it all worked out. Plus, Matt finished it MBA paper and was able to come with me yesterday. Saturdays are our only days together and it was great fun.
