Happy New Year 2019

I am welcoming this New Year with open arms!! 2018 was difficult but I'm hopeful and planning on a much better 2019!

Arrowlyn will be turning 3 this year and Zeplin will be finishing Kindergarten this summer and starting 1st grade in August. We've decided to keep Arrowlyn home instead of putting her in preschool - unless something changes, like a baby.
Zeplin is excited to start basketball next week and has asked to play soccer again. But I think we are going to try baseball this spring. He's turning into quite the athlete.

Matt is content with his career  for the time being so I don't see him making much of a career move any time soon. If he does, I will trust him.

He's really happy with his new truck and I'm happy too - especially because now we have something to move our bikes and kayaks (and new paddle boards) around this summer. I think we are planning a big, fun trip this summer.

I'm back in Physical Therapy for my knee. My left leg is very weak and I probably shouldn't be playing volleyball, but I'm desperate to be doing something. I start league play in a couple weeks.

I’m still crocheting a lot with some Real Estate transactions on the side. I opened my home for child care to a neighbor who had a change in her family situation. Her son is Zeplin's age and they’re best friends at Kindergarten. And her daughter is exactly a year older than Arrow. They will be with us about 15-20hrs a week, every other day. When the boys are on track break, both littles will be with their dad in another state. I have a feeling we will probably miss them during those breaks.

Even with all our financial set backs last year, we are still on track to be debt free by the end of this year. (It wold have been August of this year) I bought a new calendar for our budget (our old one was kinda mangled.)

Matt and I are trying to focus on planning ahead. We usually just go with the flow but I've adopted the quote "Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail."

Cheers to a much better, more fulfilling, less emotional and painful year full of growth, love and peace!
