🌲Our Small Group started up again and we've been looking forward to spending every Monday evening with our friends from church to discuss the sermon from the day before, study the Bible and pray. Our kids love it and have made a few good friends.
The Financial Planning class ended the middle of the month and once it was done, Matt and I felt more equipped to sit and discuss our future plans for paying off the little bit of debt we have and the cars so we can throw more money into this we truly care about and into our futures.
I'm also in two Women's Bible Studies. One group is studying Ruth & Esther. The other group is studying Joshua. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning. It is really been great to study the Bible with groups of women who genuinely want to know God's Word. They let me ask questions and are so full of answers, directly from the Bible.
🌲Volleyball started and I couldn't be happier to be back out on the court!! I think all my racquetball playing has helped with my agility. I'm still wearing my brace but I'm jumping again. Actually jumping!! Yahooo!!! I feel stronger. One of my teammates, who didn't know me before my knee injury, pulled me aside and told me I look so strong! It made me feel good that all my efforts in the gym have been paying off a little.
🌲 As I wrote in the Meet Olivia post, Oliver never came home and we never found him at the Humane Society. We told the kids that he probably got picked up by a family and they are loving on him! But I'm sure that wasn't the case. We feel pretty bummed out.
Then Cheetah Beta died. He was acting strange, wouldn't eat and then within a day, he was gone. Zeplin was really sad and cried a lot. I tried to be discrete when I flushed him down the toilet. I think Zj saw me, but he didn't say anything.
Overall, this was a pretty boring month. Matt was consumed with hunting and I was focused on getting my kids put together every day so we wouldn't be lazy or scrambling. I took a lot of pictures for friends this month and it was helpful for supplementing our income so Matt could be in the mountains.
