Meet Olivia

Oliver has been missing for over a month now. We’ve gone frequently to look for him and haven’t found him. While we were at the Idaho Humane Society, we decided to look at the adoptable cats. We snuggled the little tiny ones and my heart just fell on the older ones. I looked at all the profiles, searching for a cat that had been there for awhile and had already been introduced to dogs.
I reached in for a cute little black cat named Sweetie. She immediately climbed up to my shoulder and rested her head. It was the sweetest, most tender hug ever!
I asked the staff if anyone knew anything about her. Someone pulled her file for me and I was in luck, she was a surrender and came from a home with cats and dogs!
My mind was weary of getting her. Matt was out of town and I didn’t have my ID on me. My mom offered to use her ID and because she’s over 60 years old, Sweetie was free. It was as if it was meant to be!!
Sweetie, now Olivia, had to stay the night to be spayed.

The next day, I rushed over to IHS Vet and picked up our darling little kitty.

She’s been a little skiddish and not ready to come out of hiding but she really is the sweetest! She cuddles and purrs. Her first night with us, I fell asleep with her snugged on my chest. Matt had to wake us up and put her in the bathroom to sleep. (Because the dogs sleep with us.)

We are happy to have her. She’s going to be an indoor only cat and just in time, because I found mice poop under my stairs!
