Happy Halloween

"YOU WIN HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR!"

Every year, I think, "It doesn't get any better than this" ...... and then we pull off another fun costume!!! I thought The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my favorite... then we did the Super Heroes, then last year, Scooby Doo and the Mystery gang took the 'Favorite Position.' But officially, The Walking Dead is my new favorite!!

      Without all of us together, not a lot of people really knew who we were. I looked like a wanna be biker chick, Matt looked like a cowboy, Zeplin looked like a pirate cowboy and Arrowlyn looked like, well, a zombie. But once they figured us out, we got stopped like crazy!! Of everyone who stopped us, Carl (Zeplin) was a fan favorite! And Lucille (my bat)... 

Basically you just need to watch the Walking Dead if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

Our new friends, from Life Group, the Pattersons, came with us and we all just had a blast! Apparently our neighborhood is a stopping place for Boise because Edna was lined with cars. We went through 3 bags of candy by 10pm. We walked to our Pastor's house and ran into our friends, the Menz'. By 9:00pm, we were all tired so we headed home. The kids decompressed while we sat at our kitchen table with Megan & Ryan (Patterson) and our Pastor, Kirk, chatting and enjoying each others company. 

Everyone was gone by 930pm and our kids were asleep shortly after. I reminisced on the day and how much fun I have dressing up with my kids. 

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday to spend with my family!
