Zeplin had a fantastic birthday & party. On his actual birthday, he woke up to an avalanche of balloons the moment he opened his bedroom door. I woke up to him squealing with excitement! He couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. When he got home, he opened a card from his Grandma Melanie. She said, "I bet she gave me money. She always sends me money." It was funny. He was eager to call her as soon as he opened it and wanted to keep talking to her.
Grandma Cindy came over to give him a gift and spend the evening with us. I cooked Zeplin's favorite dinner - Broccoli, Shrimp and Rice. Then we let him open his birthday present - a drone. He was sooo happy! I was so happy for him!
After dinner, we rushed over to his school to watch his Winter Choir performance. He did such a great job and I'm so proud of him!!
We finished the night was cake! Zeplin was happy and felt loved.
Thursday, since he had to share his day with his winter concert, I decided to throw him a party with some of his friends from the neighborhood at Nerfed. I loaded up Jaten, Zane, Amelia and Crosby in my car to take them to the party. Matt met us there with Pizza. Cooper showed up a little later and it made Zeplin's whole night. They're totally best buddies. Unfortunately I had to leave halfway through the party but Matt was a total rockstar & finished out the night. When I got home, Zeplin was eager to tell me all about the party and show me his fun gifts. He's so loved and it makes my mom heard sing.
