Happy Mother's Day.

What a lovely day!! I still can't believe I get to celebrate this day for the past 8 years now!!

And to make it ever more special, my mom joined us!!

After a yummy breakfast, my mom loaded up with us in the car and we took off to Bogus Basin for a quick trip to the mountains. We even took Mr. Tedd since he really was my first baby almost 12 years ago! It was really hot outside so we didn't hike far or for a long time but it was nice to be outside enjoying each other and seeing how happy my puppy was to be outside with us. 

 

   

   

 

 

    

Once we got home, we had a little snack then I brought out my kids' Mother Day gift. (We buy gifts for our kids for Mother/Father day since we wouldn't be such if it weren't for them. And they buy us gifts on their birthdays since they wouldn't have a birthday if it weren't for us.) Anyways, I bought them a pool and their own summer water bottles. 

They spent most of their afternoon filling up the pool and wishing for summer every day!

Matt bought himself a smoker for mothers' day with the catch that he was going to make me some yummy meal for the day. Hahaha. He's always wanted a smoker so I wasn't too upset. lol. 

     

 

  

We are currently spending the rest of the night watching the Labyrinth and cuddling on the couch. It was a great day and I'm so thankful for my sweet children who call me mom.
