Best day ever!! The Leonards were awesome and took us out on their boat to Lake Lowell the day after the 4th. I almost didn't think we were going to make it because we all slept in until 11am but I wanted to go so bad.
My most favorite part was seeing my son excel in his swimming. He loves the water and all things water sports. Which is great because it's something I love too so I hope he and I can share in this! He was so eager to learn how to wake board and actually did so well. I'm proud of him and can't wait to have him go out to try again.
Funny story, when I was in my early 20s, I bought my first wakeboard and would sit on the dock with my wakeboard and $10 to pay a boater to take me out for a few rides. I love wakeboarding so much!!
I haven't been out on a boat since Zeplin was a baby. I got up my first try. I used to be able to jump the wake but that was a long time ago.
Katie showed us how to surf and I decided to give it a try. I had no clue what I was doing but I got up 1st try again and really had a good time learning.
I look forward to going out with them again soon!!
