Our crazy mayor mandated that Boise (Now all of Ada county) has to wear face masks at all times and in all places. Although I don't love it, I don't want our economy to shut down again so I follow the rules.
Matt has been working from home since my surgery. He was working in the dining room but after continually telling us to be quiet, I escorted him into the guest/music/craft room.
Volleyball ended for me and we had a great time. We came in 2nd but only because a team we were tied with moved to W3 and should have been in W1.
Arrowlyn got eaten alive by a massive mosquito in her room. It's all over her face and arms. It had me all freaked out but it eventually went away.
I woke up early with some girlfriends and went paddle boarding. We swam a lot at Eagle Island, and different ponds. Arrowlyn made a lot of zucchini bread. Zeplin played with his buddies a lot. And I propagated, tended to, and planted a lot of my favorite green things.
The bummer side of the month is that Matt's dad Lyle was diagnosed with COVID-19. He's still staying in a nursing home and we are all worried about him. We haven't seen him since March and our hearts are hurting that he's experiencing something so scary and he's all alone. We are praying, unceasingly, for his health.
