Unplanned & Random Night to the Park

This boy was having the time of his life at Ann Morrison park tonight.

We decided to take our dinner to the park since Boise was having their annual Hot Air Balloon Classic. We got their super early so no one was there yet. The air was warm but not too terrible.

After dinner, Matt and I broke tiny pieces of bread off and placed them in a bag for Zeplin for throw at the ducks. He had quite the fan base and would yell Quack Quack after each toss.  We taught him that Geese say Honk Honk and he did a really good job of pointing out the different ones and telling us if they said Quack or Honk.

We learned that 3 pieces of bread is just not enough. Next time we will have to bring a whole loaf.

Zeplin made himself comfortable in our utility wagon so we could cart in to the balloons. But only after a quick stop at the fountain.

He was super cautious about getting wet and didn't really run though the water. He would get just close enough to feel the mist and run away. I love watching him laugh and clap and run.

Once we made it to the festivities, it was so crowded and annoying. I get too anxious in large swarms of people and Zj was being a little temperamental so we left. Z never would have made it to dark anyways.

I love when we take little outings like this. They're unplanned and random.
